About our clinicians, process, and medical standards
Your assessment is conducted by our Consultant Nurse Prescriber, an MSc-qualified Non-Medical Prescriber with specialist training in adult ADHD. They have years of NHS and private ADHD experience, so you get a full clinical consultation from someone who actually understands how ADHD shows up in real life.
Our assessments follow NICE guidelines for adult ADHD diagnosis. You'll receive a comprehensive diagnostic report you can share with your GP. We don't currently offer shared care or Right to Choose, and your GP always has the final say, but your report is thorough and clinically robust.
If our assessment determines you don't meet the criteria for ADHD, you'll still receive a full report explaining our findings and any alternative recommendations. The assessment fee covers the clinical consultation regardless of outcome, but you won't be charged for any ongoing care packages. Many people find real value in ruling ADHD in or out so they can finally stop guessing and decide what to do next.
ADHD medications are well-studied and safe when properly monitored. We follow NICE guidelines for titration, starting at low doses and adjusting based on your response. During stabilisation, you'll have regular check-ins (typically every 2-4 weeks) to monitor for side effects, check blood pressure and heart rate, and optimise your dose.
Yes, we're a CQC-registered clinic. Our Consultant Nurse is a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) authorised to prescribe controlled medications including stimulants like methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta) and lisdexamfetamine (Elvanse). Our prescriptions are filled by regulated UK pharmacies. We follow all legal and clinical requirements for controlled substance prescribing.
Side effects are common during titration and usually manageable. You have direct access to your care team during stabilisation—message us anytime and we'll respond within 24-48 hours. If you experience concerning symptoms, we can adjust your dose, try a different medication, or pause treatment entirely. Your wellbeing comes first.
We're here to help. Our team typically responds within a few hours.
